This national park is one of the 7 wonders of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the location with the highest density of big mammals in the world, and is famed for the annual wildebeest migration. The sheer vastness and space around you is breathtaking beyond words!

There is an industry standard recommendation however, for safari guides we suggest $40 to $50 (or more if you wish) per day/per safari vehicle, NOT per person, and for tent camping safaris, also for your chef $25 to $30 (or more if you wish) per day/per safari vehicle, NOT per person, given directly to the crew members by the safari travelers. (Also known as ‘glamping’) Luxury tented lodges prioritize authentic wilderness immersion, closer nature encounters, hearing wildlife at night, but with high end comforts. You will enjoy a large, walk-in canvas tent, comfortable bed, en suite private bathroom, hot water, flushing toilet and a place to sit outside. Many feature solar power, outdoor fire pits and communal, cozy dining areas.
Best for… adventurous travelers, romantic trips, and those seeking remote, nature-first experiences.

Safari hotels offer permanent structures (wood, stone, brick) with solid walls, larger properties, extensive amenities like pools and spas, ideal for comfort-seeking travelers. Better insulation against heat, cold, less "rustic" than luxury tented lodges.
Best for… families with young children, travelers desiring luxury, and during variable weather conditions.

You want a rustic and even closer to nature experience? Choose tent camping!
‘Comfy Camping’ is our SIMBA ZOE special style… you sleep in a standard canvas safari tent for 2 people, shared public washroom facilities, and we step it up with a much thicker new sleeping mattress and new pillow, soft African print cotton bedding (no sleeping bag), regular dishes (not plastic), table cloth, solar light and washroom/shower basket of goodies!
Best for… the more budget safari goer, older children and adults, great for our outdoorsy adventurers.

SIMBA ZOE SAFARIS
All safaris will have the same style of safari vehicle
Your vehicle is a 4×4 with ability to manage all sorts of terrain and road conditions. Everyone has a sliding window for a clear view and the entire top pops up for a 360* view when you stand up! Your vehicle has a small frig to keep your drinks cold, charging capability for your devices, blankets and pillows, and will be your home and sanctuary on wheels for the week!

WELCOME to TANZANIA!!! KARIBU TANZANIA!!!
SIMBA ZOE will greet you at the airport and get you to the hotel.
Later that day or next day, we introduce you to your guide and together we have your safari briefing.
The next morning, we say ‘Safari Njema’ ‘Good Journey’ as you drive off with your safari guide!
You will have the same safari vehicle and guide for the duration of your safari. Get comfy and settle into your home on wheels!
Sometimes/often, wildlife will walk very close to your vehicle! This is extremely exciting and calls for having your camera ready and keeping quiet as to not disturb the animals natural movement and behaviors.
Your safari will be 1 of these 4 options…
1. Start in town and drive to the safari parks and drive back to town at the end.
2. Start in town and drive to the safari parks and take a flight from an airstrip to Zanzibar or back to main airport at the end.
3. Fly to airstrip in Serengeti and meet your guide, continue to your lodge and drive back to town at the end.
