Serengeti National Park is iconic and legendary and famous for good reason.

Serengeti means ‘endless plains’ and this is so true. When you are out there, you feel so small and can see about as far as your eyes can go! This national park is one of the 7 wonders of the world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the location with the highest density of big mammals in the world, and is famed for the annual wildebeest migration. The sheer vastness and space around you is breathtaking beyond words!

Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park & Ngorongoro Crater are the primary destinations!

A 6 to 9 day safari is a fantastic duration and can include these locations, add-ons & culture tours.

A SIMBA ZOE ‘standard plus’ style lodge safari for 2+ adventurers is between $800 to $950 per person/per day (plus tips, see below for details), depending on various logistical details, chosen lodging, size of group etc. (Solo safaris are awesome too! Solo supplement cost added)

A SIMBA ZOE ‘comfy camping’ style safari for 2+ adventurers is between $450 to $550 per person/per day (plus tips, see below for details), depending on various logistical details, size of group etc. (Solo safaris are awesome too! Solo supplement cost added)

TIPPING DETAILS… Please prepare tips for your amazing crew! Standard income for crew members in Tanzania adventure travel is a combination of salary + tip = fair living wage. SIMBA ZOE pays the salary, and the tip is for the safari travelers. You are free to offer as much as you wish based on how satisfied you are with the service you experience. There is an industry standard recommendation however, for safari guides we suggest $35 to $45 (or more if you wish) per day/per safari vehicle, and for tent camping safaris, also for your chef $25 to $30 (or more if you wish) per day/per safari vehicle, given directly to the crew members by the safari travelers.
